Fit India Freedom Run-2022 was conducted on 19.10.2022 by Sharavathi dental college and hospital, NSS unit Shivamogga. The plog run began from Shivappa Nayaka Palace Museum, Shivamogga and ended at Gandhi Park, Shivamogga. Principal, Dr Samrat M R, teaching, non teaching faculty along with students participated in this 3km Fit India plog run. City police and traffic police department personnel were present from start to end point, providing their continuous support towards the run. Importance of exercise in maintaining general health and awareness about cleanliness was given to the population by all the participants
