The library is the heart and treasure house of knowledge and information and it is an essential and integral component of the college. Library committee was formed in the year of 2013.
The library is committee headed by the principal as Chairman, and other members consisted by the Chief librarian as the convener and all HOD’s of all the departments of the college. The committee is responsible for:
- Allocation of funds for the purchase of text books, reference books and to subscribe for journals and periodicals.
- Providing suggestions and guidelines to design the activities of the library as learner center, depending on the needs of the users.
- To monitor the procurement of library collection to add the latest books, journals, magazines, CDs, DVDs, etc. to make the library more effective as learner center.
- Conducting audit of books present in the library and submits a report to the principal.
Meetings of the committee are held in every term. The demands, suggestions from the faculty and the student are invited. The new purchases are made as per requirements.
